Ponzo Illusion 🎩

The Ponzo Illusion is a classic optical illusion that demonstrates how our brain interprets size based on depth cues. The illusion was described by Mario Ponzo in 1911.

The two identical rectangles you see on the screen appear to be different in size due to the perspective made by the background image. This effect occurs because our brain assumes objects farther away should be larger in real life.

Before interpreting something, a worthwhile effort would be to determine where it sits in your mind. How did it get there?

If a problem appears really big, maybe it's about how you positioned it.

You're always free to change the angle on perspective lines.
